Located at a height of 1200 meters, this small town is known as the Lake city of Uttarakhand. Named after the charismatic mythological character of Mahabharata, “Bhim”, Bhimtal is situated 22 kilometers away from and in the Nainital district of Uttarakhand. Unlike the latter, Bhimtal is a quiet place with peaceful aura and unending charm that adds spice to its phenomenal beauty. Despite being surrounded by numerous holy temples which attracts a huge number of devotees, it remains an uncrowded place, unlike others. Famous for its architectural significance and holy culture values, this hill station must be present in the list of almost all the travelers roaming around the world. The fresh and pleasant months of March to May with a temperature of 10 to 27°C are ideal for adventure activities and temple hopping. Rainfall is the ruler of the town in the monsoon season here in Uttarakhand starting from July to mid-September.
